near Kenitra, Morocco.  As a very young child his family relocated to Naval Station Mayport near Jacksonville, FL and he still calls Jacksonville home today.  You will not pass a body of water in town without Capt. Steve reminiscing of his days as a youngster fishing from a jon boat or shore at that very spot.

Any day of the week you’ll find Capt. Steve guiding on the St. Johns River and its tributaries. He is well known locally for his ability to find the big fish and the unusual catches. He puts anglers on the “fish of their lives”, and his outgoing personality makes for a fun day on the water. His passion for the sport and for sharing knowledge will have you coming back to Jacksonville catching fish with Capt. Steve every chance you have!

Madness Fishing Charters launches from several boat ramps in the Jacksonville area.  Capt. Steve’s favored ramp is the Mayport Boat Ramp, but you might also launch from the Beach Blvd., Arlington Lions Club, or the St. Augustine City ramps depending on your location and where the hot bite is.
